It is so great to marry your longtime love, the person you respect the most and your best friend! Leah Pipes got all the this Saturday when she wed actor A.J. Trauth in Santa Barbara, Calif, surrounded with friends and family. It was a small and intimate ceremony at the Four Seasons Biltmore. The lovely bride wore a custom Anne Barge gown and Manolo Blahnik shoes. Her dad walked her down the aisle and it was one of her favorite moments from her big day so she decided to share it on her instagram:
The couple got engaged on Christmas Day 2013 after dating for more than two years. When asked about the decision to tie the knot with Trauth she said :
“I have spent a decade of my life dating, I am thrilled about never going on another bad date for the rest of my life. I’m also so excited to learn and grow with the person I respect most in this world.”
As for the wedding dress, she dished that she wanted something fun yet elegant:
“Neither my fiancé nor I take ourselves too seriously and we want our wedding to reflect our lightheartedness. With that said, we’re having our wedding at an old classic hotel so my dress needed to be formal enough to fit into that venue, but not so formal it felt stuffy.”
Welcome to The Originals family Yusuf! The charismatic actor who plays Finn Mikaleson into the body of a witch named Vincent is promoted to series regular and we are thrilled because this means he’ll stick around.
“We’re thrilled to announce that Yusuf Gatewood has been promoted to series regular as of this winter. In addition to his incredible talent, he has been a joy to work with—committed, passionate, professional, kind and inspiring. We’re honored to have him as part of the family.” announced EP Julie Plec.
And although we are very very happy with this news, we can’t stop but wonder what does this mean for Daniel Sharman and Sonja Sohn? Ok, Esther might jump into another body or even die, but killing of Kol (again) will make fans very angry. So, will Sharman continue to play Kol or Nathaniel Buzolic will return to the role that made him a fan favorite?
Everyone has been waiting for a new big bad on The Vampire Diaries, so the excitement got even bigger when Julie Plec teased that “There is a villain-esque person in this season that I’m particularly excited about because it does break the mold a little bit of our villains, which seem to be often very redeemable in their own way … And we get to explore the deep, dark minds of a psychopathic personality, so I’m very excited about that.” The speculations began immediately with many guessing that she might be talking about Tripp (Colin Ferguson) – the head of a community militia. But…
Showrunner Caroline Dries revealed the Season 6 psychopathic villain at the Q&A after a special screening of the premiere held for reporters and it will be KAI!
It was previously reported that Chris Wood (The Carrie Diaries) has been cast as “charmingly unstable newcomer” named Kai. We will meet Kai in the third episode of the new season. “He is just like a crazy person and he’s super-fun to write and the actor’s name is Chris Wood,” Dries said. “He’s very charismatic and charming and psychotic and likable and unlikable in all the right ways, you get to meet him in a few episodes and he’s gonna stick around for a while, hopefully.” Charismatic and charming and likable and unlikable? Ring a bell? We wonder – is he going to get his own spin off?
Jokes aside, we hope Chris Wood will deliver as a villain. And speaking of his character, we did a little research on the name – KAI is of Welsh, Scandinavian and Greek origin, and the meaning of Kai is “keeper of the keys; earth” while in Scottish it means “fire”. Now we know that we were told there won’t be a kitsune storyline on the show, but all these sure sounds similar…
Ok guys, any theories on your own? Hit the comments!
Ever wondered what did Klaus look like as a child? Well, now you can see it with your own eyes and know for certain he was as charming as a kid as he is now. Episode 16 of The Originals will feature a flashback taking us in the past when Klaus was just an innocent little child so we will get a glimpse of his childhood. And the little actor that will play him
We already reported that The Vampire Diaries is soon getting a new big bad in the form of Markos – “charismatic but imposing leader from a faraway land.” We are going to meet Markos in the 17th episode of this season and we think he might be the leader of the Travelers… We can speculate on what kind of a supernatural creature will Markos be, but let’s stop for a minute to see the actor who will portray him.
